Broadcast Pack Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: May 1st, 2025

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase and use of Broadcast Packs within the Collars Pet Care Hubs hosted on WhatsApp. By purchasing or using a Broadcast Pack, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not proceed with any purchase or submission.


1. Definitions

"Collars" refers to the legal entity operating the Pet Care Hubs initiative.

"Broadcast Pack" refers to the promotional packages offered by Collars that allow users to submit content for distribution within Collars-managed WhatsApp groups and bulletin boards.

"Pet Care Hubs" refers to the network of WhatsApp groups curated and administered by Collars for pet care professionals and communities.

"Admin-publish" refers to content shared by Pet Care Hub’ verified administrators on behalf of the buyer.

"Self-publish" refers to content posted directly by the buyer following approval.

"User", "you", or "buyer" refers to the individual or business purchasing and using the Broadcast Pack.


2. Eligibility

Broadcast Packs are available to registered businesses, freelancers, or individuals operating legally within the country of the selected Pet Care Hub. By using a Broadcast Pack, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old;

  • You are authorized to represent the business you are promoting;

  • Your services, products, or events relate to pets or pet care in a direct and meaningful way;

  • Your business is legally registered or self-employed within the jurisdiction of the Hub you are posting in.


3. Platform Limitation Notice

Collars’ Pet Care Hubs are hosted on WhatsApp, a third-party platform. While Collars curates and moderates its communities:

  • Collars is not liable for any downtime, data loss, technical bugs, or outages caused by WhatsApp;

  • Broadcast visibility depends on WhatsApp's service availability;

  • Users must comply with WhatsApp's terms of use in addition to these Terms.


4. Broadcast Pack Features

Available Broadcast Pack types include:

  • Basic Pack (Self-publish): Single post shared directly by the user following approval. Cannot be rescheduled once payment is processed.

  • Standard Pack (Admin-publish or Self-publish): Single post shared by either Pet Care Hub admin account or self-published. Rescheduling is allowed up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.

  • Week-long Campaign (Self-publish): Up to three posts shared by user across 7 days. Each post must follow pre-approved content and cannot be rescheduled.

  • Month-long Campaign (Admin-publish + Self-publish blend): Up to 10 scheduled posts (including 2 announcements) over 30 days. Self-published posts are final once submitted. Admin-published posts may be edited/rescheduled during the 48-hour "midway window" after the 4th post goes live.

  • Non-Profit Pack (Admin-publish or Self-publish – free): Available exclusively to legally registered charities and non-profit organisations. Eligible non-commercial content may be shared for free following verification and approval.

    • Admin-publish: Post will be shared by the verified Pet Care Hub admin account.

    • Self-publish: Post will be shared by the organisation directly once approved.
      Posts cannot be rescheduled once approved. Promotional content must be mission-aligned and educational or awareness-based.

All posts are subject to manual review and approval by Collars for compliance and relevance.


5. Content Guidelines

Your content must:

  • Be directly relevant to pets, pet services, or pet owners;

  • Be non-discriminatory, inclusive, and respectful;

  • Be free from false, misleading, or exaggerated claims;

  • Include accurate pricing, availability, and contact information;

  • Avoid over-promotion or repetitive language;

  • Use high-quality images (no watermarks, no blurry graphics);

  • Be submitted in English, unless otherwise approved.

Collars reserves the right to:

  • Modify formatting or style to suit platform conventions;

  • Decline campaigns that do not align with community values.


6. Scheduling & Rescheduling

  • Self-publish posts (Basic, Week-long): Cannot be rescheduled once payment is received. Missed posts will require purchase of a new Basic Pack.

  • Admin-publish posts (Standard, Month-long): Can be rescheduled only if requested at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled posting time.

  • Midway campaign edits (Month-long only): Buyers may request changes to remaining scheduled content within 48 hours after the 4th post is published. After this window, all scheduled content is final.


7. Payment and Refund Policy

  • All payments must be made in full prior to review or scheduling.

  • Payments are processed via Stripe or an approved third-party provider.

  • Once your post has been approved and scheduled, no refunds will be issued.

  • Refunds may be granted only if no content has been submitted and the buyer cancels within 24 hours of payment.


8. Visibility & Performance

  • Admin-published content shared on the announcement board and will remain visible for at least 12 months if removal is not request within 48 hours of posting.

  • Self-published messages remain in the chat thread for the lifetime of the group.

  • Campaign insights and click-through reports are available for Month-long Campaigns.

  • Collars cannot guarantee audience engagement levels but offers support to optimise your messaging.


9. License and Ownership

You retain ownership of all submitted content. By submitting content, you grant Collars a royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to:

  • Edit, publish, and distribute your content within the Collars Pet Care Hubs;

  • Feature your content in marketing, case studies, and newsletters (where applicable).

You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to use all content submitted, including third-party images, branding, or trademarks.


10. Breaches and Termination

Collars may suspend or terminate access to Broadcast Packs if:

  • You submit inappropriate, misleading, or prohibited content;

  • You violate community guidelines or spam the group;

  • You breach any part of these Terms.

In such cases, no refund will be issued.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • Collars is not responsible for third-party issues including WhatsApp outages or platform policy changes.

  • Collars does not guarantee a minimum number of views, replies, or conversions.

  • You agree to use the Broadcast Pack at your own risk and to indemnify Collars against any claims resulting from your promotional content.


13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be handled under UK jurisdiction.


14. Amendments

Collars may update these Terms at any time. The "Effective Date" at the top reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of the service after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.


15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and Collars concerning Broadcast Packs. They supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings.
