The Role:
We are searching for an Account Manager to join the Collars team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about pets, thrives in client-facing roles, and is eager to contribute to the growth of our community-focused platform. By joining Collars, you’ll have the opportunity to work with local businesses, pet care professionals, and pet owners to build meaningful partnerships and drive impactful collaborations.
What We Are Looking For:
You have 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or client relations, ideally within the pet care, hospitality, or community platform sectors.
You are skilled in building and maintaining long-term client relationships and fostering trust.
You have a strong ability to negotiate contracts and close deals.
You are proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
You are comfortable working with CRM tools and analytics software to track performance and engagement.
A love for pets and understanding of the pet care industry is a significant advantage.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience in working with community-based or SaaS platforms.
Familiarity with regional pet care trends in cities like London, Lisbon, Barcelona, and others.
Marketing or event coordination experience to support collaborative campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for local businesses, sponsors, and pet care professionals interested in partnering with Collars.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and community partners.
Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand Collars' network across different cities.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and support for new partners.
Collaborate on marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to drive visibility and engagement.
Provide regular updates, feedback, and insights to stakeholders to refine our strategies.
Support partners with tools, resources, and training to maximize their success on the platform.
